Video-film shot by Vidiot art-group with detective story as a plot. The film discovers situation of Moscow art scene during starting late 80s and till the early 00s, with the main focus on the 90s, through metaphysical and surrealistic trip. The base of the script is text “The way of Samodelkin” by Inspection Medical Hermeneutics.
Main characters of the film are collective images of main art strategies of Russian artists during 90s and the story line is much based on legends and real art stories from the 90s as well as on comic magazine adventures of Samodelkin and Funny characters — during Soviet time many Russian unofficial conceptual artists made drawings for that magazine.
